Business Terms

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Pricing model

Monthly fee: 199 kr/month per business. Platform fee: 2% on every transaction processed through Meetrana. Stripe's own card fee applies on top (~1.5% + 1.80 kr within the EU, ~2.9% + $0.30 in the US). NO commission on new customers or marketplace bookings. POS/checkout is included in the monthly fee — no separate add-on.

2. Responsibility

As a connected business, you are solely responsible for: the quality and delivery of your services, VAT, tax and bookkeeping, receipts and refunds to customers, complying with the laws of the country you operate in, handling customer complaints and disputes. Meetrana is SOLELY a technical platform and takes no responsibility for your business.

3. Stripe connection (required)

You connect your own Stripe account to Meetrana via Stripe Connect before you can accept bookings with payment. All payments go directly to your Stripe account. Meetrana sees the transaction size and takes 2% as a platform fee (via Stripe's application_fee mechanism), but never touches the money itself. Stripe's own card fees apply on top and are paid directly to Stripe (see stripe.com/pricing). Without an active Stripe connection you cannot publish your booking page.

4. Refunds and platform fee

If you need to refund a customer, you do so via your own Stripe account. Meetrana's platform fee (2%) is non-refundable and is not returned when you refund the customer. Stripe's card fee is also non-refundable (Stripe's policy, not Meetrana's). Example: A customer pays 100 kr. The business receives 94.70 kr, Meetrana receives 2 kr, Stripe receives 3.30 kr. On a full refund the business covers the full 100 kr from its own balance. Meetrana's 2 kr and Stripe's 3.30 kr are not returned. This is standard for marketplace platforms (Uber, Airbnb, Fresha use the same model). Technical implementation: all refunds created via Meetrana's backend are called with refund_application_fee: false.

5. Termination

You can close your Meetrana account at any time. No commitment period. Data is deleted or exported according to your wishes.

6. DAC7 reporting

Under the EU DAC7 directive, Meetrana is required to report your transaction data annually to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket). This applies to all platforms that facilitate services within the EU.

7. Fair treatment (P2B Regulation)

Meetrana treats all connected businesses fairly. Search ranking is based on: geographic proximity, availability, rating and relevance.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with an action (e.g. suspension), you can contact us at meetrana.support@gmail.com for an internal complaints process.
